About Alpha Holdings, LLC
Alpha Holdings, LLC was founded by Chris Miller, a Nevada business developer, to explore new opportunities in renewable energy. After much research and discussion with partners in the field, the decision was made to to build two 110MMGY ethanol plants in the Tama and Dexter township areas of Iowa.
As to who would be initially invited for investment, Chris said: "I'd like to give first chance to the folks in the local communities who want to invest, and then to expand beyond that to other partners we know around the country".
The plants are expected to begin producing ethanol in 2008.
Chris Miller, 60, ran a successful aviation business and other enterprises for over 15 years in the Middle East before returning to the Lake Tahoe area several years ago to start his current project in renewable energy.
His investment company, Alpha Holdings LLC, is working with BBI International of Denver, an ethanol development company, Delta-T of Williamsburg Virginia, U.S. Energy Services Inc. of Wayzata, Minn., and many other partners to be announced soon.
Miller said that his experience in the Middle East convinced him that ethanol will play an important role in world energy needs, and that now is the time to develop these projects.
A national search for optimal sites for ethanol plants led Mr. Miller to Tama and Dexter in 2006.
